Outline programme of the course and topics covered

FRIDAY 31 March
- Boarding at the Marina di Scarlino from 18:00.
- Crew familiarisation, galley list preparation, course presentation.
- Boat checklist.
SATURDAY 1 April
- Theoretical notions and concepts: some mooring physics, how to leave a mooring and use springs, how to plan mooring and how to manage crew.
- Exiting the harbour and positioning buoys.
- Evolution tests with a buoy as a reference.
- Manoeuvring tests with a buoy as a reference
- Sailing buoy catch.
– Ormeggi in porto: accosto in banchina all?inglese.
SUNDAY 2 April
- Berths in port: stern at the quay.
- Discussion on mistakes made and room for improvement.
- Disembarkation at approximately 16:00 hours.

The cost of the course is 350 euros and includes accommodation on board and port dues. Excluded are galley, for which a common fund will be set up, and diesel fuel.
