Description

Safety comes from a series of thoughts, attitudes and actions aimed at averting emergency situations. Without replacing the fundamental OSR course, in this meeting we want to reason openly and constructively about the elements, procedures, equipment, knowledge, attitudes, that make yachting safer. The speakers, with different professional backgrounds, but with long sailing experience in common, will engage in a debate also open to the audience, starting from real-life facts and situations, such as the sinking of the Oyster 825 Polina Star III, which took place on 3 July 2015.
